As for deliveries, VZW uses FedEx for their shipment method and they don't delivery on weekends or holidays unless you pay for the delivery surcharge for such a delivery. So a order created on Saturday is processed Monday or the next business day and shipped to the customer based on the shipping time method selected.

Verizon's In-Store and Curbside Pickup lets you buy online and pick up your purchase at a participating Verizon store or Authorized Retailer. These are free services that save you time and shipping costs. Curbside Pickup is only available to existing Verizon customers.

Generally if it takes longer than 3 days, especially for small items then I look elsewhere. If suppliers are taking like 7 - 10 days to process orders, then that can be a sign, that the supplier doesn't actually carry that item in stock.
