Release Information. The Commander Legends set becomes legal for sanctioned Limited play on its official release date: Friday, November 20, 2020. They aren't legal for play in the Standard, Pioneer, or Modern formats.
What Sets will be Rotating Out of Standard in 2021? Throne of Eldraine, Theros: Beyond Death, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, and Core Set 2021 will be rotated out of Standard on the same day.
It's unknown if the same will prove true with the five planeswalkers in Core Set 2020, but Chandra Flame's Fury is likely to be the most versatile. Vivien, Nature's Avenger and Mu Yanling, Celestial Wind, and Ajani, Inspiring leader also show decent potential. Sorin, Vampire Lord, however, remains questionable for now.
When Core Set 2021 was first released, Teferi, Master of Time was worth around $60 but since then it has dropped to around $30. It's still considered one of the most powerful Planeswalker cards ever printed, but it's currently not seeing a lot of play in the competitive meta of Standard and eternal Constructed formats.
