The names of the months in the Islamic calendar are: Muharram; Safar; Rabi' al-awwal; Rabi' al-thani; Jumada al-awwal; Jumada al-thani; Rajab; Sha'aban; Ramadan; Shawwal; Dhu al-Qi'dah; Dhu al-Hijjah.
Muslims are expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam. The fast (sawm) begins at dawn and ends at sunset. In addition to abstaining from eating and drinking during this time, Muslims abstain from sexual relations and sinful speech and behaviour during Ramadan fasting or month.
In this fatwa:There is no authentic hadith that says we should fast on the 27th of Rajab in celebration of Al-Israa and Al-Miraj. However, if a person customarily fasts on Mondays and Thursdays and 27th of Rajab falls on one of those two days, then there is nothing wrong in fasting on that day.
Rajab is one of the four sacred months, in which fasting is generally recommended.
1- Shaban is a blessed month.
- 2- Every wise Muslim should seize the opportunity, doing his best to achieve the most benefits he can during this month.
- 3- Fasting, reciting the Quran, engaging in dhikr, and preparing for Ramadan are the most significant acts of worship one should do in Shaban.
Shaʽban (Arabic: ????????, Šaʿbān) is the eighth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the month of "separation", so called because the pagan Arabs used to disperse in search of water. The fifteenth night of this month is known as the "Night of Records" (Laylat al-Bara'at). However, observance of this day is disputed.
Fasting can be observed at any time except on six prohibited days of the year so it is allowed at Lailat al Miraj but is not any more significant or beneficial than on a normal day. Because of uncertainties over the exact date, some Muslims don't celebrate it at all.
“The last gift of al-Mi'raj is the herald that sins of the ones among the Ummah of Muhammad (saw) shall be forgiven if they do not associate any partners to Allah and will finally be rewarded with Jannah” it said.
Lailat al Miraj (27 Rajab)The night journey and ascent of the Prophet Muhammad, and the revelation of Salat. The festival is celebrated by telling the story of how the Prophet Muhammad was visited by two archangels while he was asleep, who purified his heart and filled him with knowledge and faith.
