In April 2017, Swanberg revealed the series had been renewed for a second season, which was released on December 1, 2017. In August 2018, the series was renewed for a third and final season that premiered on May 10, 2019.
There's no need to wonder whether I'll feast or starve — ahem — that is, whether Netflix will cancel or renew Easy for season four. When the streaming service made the last renewal official, it confirmed it was for a third and final season.

Franco's episodes explore more “wins” both directly and indirectly for his character. His Easy episode is the perfect meat in the acting sandwich of his 2017, from playing a dangerously sexy mute in Jeff Baena's raunchy comedy The Little Hours, to starring opposite big bro James Franco in The Disaster Artist.
Parents need to know that Easy is a mature comedy series about adult relationships of all kinds. It contains strong sexual content, including simulated sex acts and nudity. There is some occasional arguing, and some episodes feature a lot of cursing.
Sets for most of the TV shows filmed in Chicago are housed at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios on the West Side, but Swanberg said he only filmed on location. Production and accounting work was done at a local office.

It is very improvised on my end. That's not true of everyone who's affiliated with the mumblecore genre. But for me, the films and Easy, the television show, is entirely improvised. And with something like Easy now, it's much more of an anthologized television show.
