When you get a magitek core, don't sell it unless you have more than one. I know the 25k it sells for will be tempting. You need it to upgrade the Drillbreaker.

The fastest and most efficient method to farming AP involves playing Chapter 16 repeatedly up to the point where you enter the Shinra Building. You will simultaneously gain 12,354 Exp. (24,798 with the Exp. Up Materia), so this sequence is great for farming gil, Exp, as well as AP, all at the same time.
There are two methods we recommend to gain AP fast:
- Repeat the Two-Person Team vs High Flyer mission in the Shinra Combat Simulator repeatedly (redoing the battle when you reach the final fight)
- Repeatedly defeat the enemies just outside of the Shinra Combat Simulator, since they respawn right next to a bench.

Oracle Ascension Coins are a form off end-game currency that you can collect throughout the game. Once you arrive at Altissia, you can find a vendor who will exchange the coins for rare and powerful accessories and other gear. Because of this, it's worth finding as many as you can ahead of time.
