9148. To me the most fun classes to play (PvE) are Ranger, Engineer, Guardian, Warrior, and Mesmer.
So if you're looking for a "fun" leveling experience, I can personally recommend the Ranger and Guardian. If you're looking for an "easy" leveling experience, Necro can get it done. If you're actually skilled at playing the game (unlike me) Mesmer can be rather cool.
Ranger is fine in PvP, the last nerfs didn't impact much the build used. Pve is fine too although you will be just a boon bot in raids with the druid and spirits.
Soulbeast is a DPS build with very high burst damage that also provides strong party buffs with Frost Spirit and One Wolf Pack, some Vulnerability and crowd control (CC) skills. Furthermore, Whirling Defense is an exceedingly strong reflect skill that comes in handy on several encounters (e.g. Artsariiv).
Special Forces Training Area is a training area built in a cave system beneath Lion's Arch. Players can summon golems, add or remove boons, conditions, and effects and check their own DPS.
Firstly, there was no ban for ArcDPS. Not sure how that rumour started, but it seems to come up every time a padlock is placed and so far each time it was brought up, that was not the core issue. That folks spoke up who never used it could have been a tip-off, too.
Since the beginning of October, there's been a growing hum in the Guild Wars 2 community over the incoming build and equipment swapping template system.
To install ArcDPS:
- Download the most recent d3d9. dll patch.
- While the game is not running, place it in your Guild Wars 2 installation bin64 folder, \Guild Wars 2\bin64.
- Start Guild Wars 2 and use the default keybind, Alt+Shift+T to open the Options menu.
- Select Area Stats to open the main damage meter.
check your 'gw2 install dir/addons/arcdps/' folder for an arcdps.log, it will appear after you launch and are in character select. if you use other applications or client switches, dll may need to be placed next to gw2.exe. do not place it in both locations.

Gw2Hook is a fork of ReShade which target only Guild Wars 2. Modifying Guild Wars 2 is not supported by Arena.Net or NCSoft. Use it at your own risk. This aims at removing the fog in Gw2, but I decided to add more functions to it. This at still in an early stage, and should be used keeping this in mind.
The Engineer is the Guild Wars 2 best class for the tech-inclined. It uses a mixture of gadgets, turrets, and tool kits to cause mayhem. It is a brilliant utility class thanks to its ingenuity. It can become a Scrapper a class, which focuses on gyros to do its bidding.
Engineer. Engineers are jacks of all trades. They have more utility skills than any other class, regardless of role, which lets them find the right tool for any situation. In open world and casual PvE, engineers are strong all-rounders thanks to their high damage and varied utility skills.
Engineer and warrior are the least played classes in GW2 just like it is predicted by the least amount of comments and discussions in the forums.
No it's not dead, still very active and nearly all events/raids/fractals/wvw are filled with the needed population.
Both classes are strong in PvE. Warriors and Revenants have good builds and are both able to solo almost everything (story definitely 100%)Revenants have a little energy management, but shouldnt be a problem when learning it from scrap. Both classes have access to a ton of sustain.
The elementalist, mesmer, engineer, and ranger and amongst some of the most impressive specializations offered. There were also increased quality in the guardian and warrior professions. The mesmer stands as the most fun and powerful profession in GW2 Heart of Thorns.
In GW2 open world makes up the bulk of endgame content with a heavy focus on meta events. On endgame maps you have to work together with dozens of other players performing various tasks in order to progress map-wide events. Joining their squad should bring you over to their map.
Does GW2 have addons? Yes, while the GW2 addons aren't as crucial as in MMOs like World of Warcraft (WoW) or Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), there are multiple useful tools made by the players that can make the game more convenient and enjoyable.
Installation
- Download the GW2 Addon Manager.
- From the list of addons, select GW2Radial.
- Click Update.
- Run the game!
How do I install and use it? Read the readme. Go to the releases page and download the latest version; extract it to wherever you like and then run "GW2 Addon Manager.exe". I'd recommend deleting any plugins from your /bin/ or /bin64/ folder before doing this (just to avoid any potential file naming kerfuffles).
You can go to to at least be able to look at the stats you will have with certain builds/gear though.
