“Common-sense vector graphics software”Overall: Overall, I am very happy with CorelDraw and really enjoy using it. I've used it nearly every day since 2006. Pros: CorelDraw is by far the easiest vector editing software to pick up and learn as an absolute beginner.

CorelDRAW X4 is for me the best version. I actually liked version 10 when it came out and it worked great for me. But no doubt X4 (14) is my favorite version. I have no doubt about this: X4 is the best of all.

You no longer need to ungroup objects, break linked groups apart, or convert objects to curves to remove unwanted areas in a graphic. The Crop tool is located in the toolbox, on the Crop tool flyout. To crop objects, you define a rectangular area (cropping area) that you want to keep.
