Amerigroup Florida and Better Health Plans Change Brand Name to Simply Healthcare. MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Simply Healthcare has announced that the Amerigroup Florida and Better Health Medicaid plans will change brand names to Simply Healthcare, effective December 2018.
On February 1, 2018, Amerigroup Community Care changed its name. We are now Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Healthcare Solutions (Anthem). Your contract and participation statuses with us have not changed. However, you should have received an Amendment by Notification or Amendment by Mutual Consent to your contract.

Dental Care
Amerigroup covers dental services that are medically necessary as a result of an accidental injury for which treatment is covered as a basic health service. The treatment must be requested within 60 days of the injury. Your children can get dental care through the Smiles For Children Program.To be eligible, you must have limited income and resources and be in one of the groups covered by Medicaid:
- pregnant women.
- children.
- people with disabilities.
- people age 65 and older.

Amerigroup members get comprehensive general dental care through a primary care dentist (PCD), including checkups, cleanings, fillings and extractions. Your PCD can refer you to a dental specialist if you need special dental care. You can also get emergency dental care if you need it.
