If you're AFK in Valorant for long enough, you will be kicked from the game and then slapped with timed queue restriction. Essentially, if you get kicked from the game, you won't be able to join another match for the length of time you are told.
One of the penalties to be implemented will be prolonged queuing limits for players who go AFK frequently. Riot says AFK players will receive queuing penalties in the lobby which increases in severity each time the system verifies that they are missing in action.
Riot tests bots in unrated matches.
No your MMR does not drop and it will also not decay from inactivity. Really the only things that affect your MMR are winning and losing. Up until last Season Queue Dodging was used to "troll" the League system by playing into a promotion and then winning one game while dodging the other one.
How do you surrender in Valorant? To surrender in a match, a player needs to type one of three commands into the chat. "/ff", "/concede", and "/surrender" are all viable commands to use. This will begin a surrender vote, in which all teammates will be notified that a surrender option has been proposed.
You can get banned for leaving matches, for exiting matchs. If you exit death match or spike rush then it's alright, but if you exit a Competitive match or unrated you will suffer from a long term ban. I exited a competitive match and it banned me for 1 hour. And when I exited Unrated match it banned me for 5 mins.
Valorant: Riot can ban you for accidentally disconnecting from a game but not for intentionally throwing one or griefing. Griefing or throwing games in Valorant doesn't seem to be a punishable offence. Getting teammates who intentionally throw a game is becoming a serious problem in the shooter.
If they are really AFK, they will get disconnected. But if they stay in game, and just stays in spawn and walk arount, there is nothing much to do, expect reporting them. No you can't see how many matches a player left before the match was finished.
If you are idle for more than 4 minutes you get kicked from the game for AFK. If you do not participate fully in the game you get reduced rewards.

Yes, I've seen this question several times. The patch has been specifically designed to prevent you from joining the game, doing anything, getting tokens, and replaying everything again. If the player and the time of your active game is greater than being afk – everything is fine. You will receive tokens.
HOW LONG WILL I REMAIN IN THE LOW PRIORITY QUEUE? You will be placed in the low priority queue for 5 games. If you continuously leave, the low priority queue timers increase from 5 minutes per game to 20 minutes per game.
Nothing. Since TFT it's not a team game and each player fights for his own win, if you quit, it won't affect the remaining players.
The Leaver Buster system will automatically kick players who remain idle for 5 minutes. If a game doesn't end (for example for server issues, or because every player left the match), no penalties are given out. Punishment (All matches): No XP granted for the abandoned game.
Depending on the consistency and severity of the toxic behaviors, this system will hand out bans that range in severity from a 7 day ban to a permanent ban from the PBE environment.
If they continue to repeatedly ruin other players' experiences, they'll enter lower-priority matchmaking for a number of games. While in low priority queue, players will experience queue times that are 5, 10, even 20 minutes longer than a player who hasn't left games.
The rules prohibit anyone under the age of 16 competing in any tournament, and also bans any new agents being used for two weeks and any new maps being used for four weeks.
To use the left-handed mode, players will have to go to the settings after launching Valorant and change the “First Person Handedness” option from there. Once done, all the players you spectate in-game will also appear to be left-handed.
Abandoning matches will also lead to reduced progression and game restrictions. This is how you can leave a match in Valorant and remain locked until the previous game is ended. If you try login in the back you will be spawned back in the active match you joined previously. There is no way out.
Players who abandon matchmade games, or dodge agent selects, will now experience penalties that prevent them from queuing for a period of time. Frequent offenders will experience higher queue time penalties.
You can try to go to the upper right of the main menu and find the Exit button. This one is the same place where the Practice button is located. If you cannot find it, you can try the method to leave the game in Valorant. To leave it, you usually have to select the Leave Match option from the game menu.
