However, there are a number of items that you probably wouldn't consider liquids that are banned. And items in cans, such as tuna, are also banned as they exceed 100ml and contain liquid.
Passengers are allowed to pass through security with food products. If you want to take a packed lunch of 'solid' foods then you are free to do so – you can include sandwiches, crisps, biscuits, pies, pasties, wraps, sausage rolls, chocolate, sweets, fruit and vegetables etc.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has today announced that it has ditched card fees for all bookings paid for with a credit card, debit card or AMEX, making us the first company to offer customers fee-free flight and holiday bookings with any of these major cards or through PayPal.
The short answer is yes. Chargers are allowed in hand carry luggage. You can also put phone chargers in checked hold luggage too. There are no restrictions around regular phone chargers when flying that you need to be aware of.

The move means that no alcohol will be served before 8am in an effort to tackle disruptive and abusive behaviour by passengers. The airline is calling for airports and retailers to follow its lead to trade responsibly and similarly ban alcohol sales before 8am.

Low-cost carrier Jet2 has revealed that its premium upgrade service will soon be available on all flights from the UK. Passengers will have the option to upgrade on flights from Belfast International, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and Newcastle lasting over two hours.

All customers need to do is check in online at least 24 hours before their flight*, then visit the Twilight check-in where they can drop their bags at the Jet2.com check-in desks between 3pm and 8pm the night before. *Only applicable to flights departing before 12 noon the following day.

Still, it said that it had taken a £108.4million financial hit related to hedge ineffectiveness. Jet2 is one among many airlines to have announced significant job cuts following an unprecedented fall in demand for plane travel that has caused severe financial difficulties for the industry.
Jet2 flights and holidays to Spain's Malaga and Alicante will be suspended until February 10, 2021 with those to the Algarve in Portugal suspended from November 1 until February 10, 2021. Jet2 will continue to offer a revised schedule of flights to Portugal until October 31, 2020.
The good news is that you can cancel your holiday with Jet2. The bad news is that you have to pay cancellation charges and you may not be able to recover much. It is important to note that the deposit you paid for when you booked your holiday (£60 per person) is non-refundable.

The airline, which is is based at nine UK airports, has halted all flights with immediate effect to mainland Spain, as well as the Balearic and Canary Islands, including Majorca, Ibiza, Minorca, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Fuerteventura and also to Malta.
According to TTG, a spokesperson explained: "Jet2holidays have taken the decision to extend the suspension of our flights and holidays programme to Crete and Zante due to the continued Covid-19 pandemic. "All holidays departing up to and including 31 October 2020 will automatically be cancelled with a full refund.
In Turkey, all holidays departing up to and including 14 November have been cancelled. Flights to Dalaman are now scheduled to restart from 26 March 2021, and to Izmir and Bodrum from 29 April 2021, again, subject to Jet2.com's new flying programme.
JET2 is suspending all of its flights to Turkey for the rest of the month. Package holidays, like flights, are being suspended until November and Jet2 is cancelling affected holidays and refunding customers.
Jet2 has confirmed it will be cancelling flights to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura until 17 October 2020. Flights to the Canary Islands were originally due to resume toward the end of September, but the cancellations have been extended in line with government guidance.
