It is definitely possible to crack GATE in 1 month but it depends on various factors. You should know what it means to crack GATE. If your aim is to qualify in GATE 2019 by scoring the minimum qualifying marks, then yes, there is a higher possibility of achieving this goal.
Gate is tough in terms of relative performance. Bcz there are less seats in Mtech/ PSU. So rank shoulf be exceptionally good to get admission in top IITs that too with top courses. It is even hard for under 100 rank to get admission in Top IITs.
HI there,yes it's possible to get admission in iits without gate,but for that you must require 8.0 or more cpi other than that you have to give written test and will have to face personal interview.
GATE Marking Scheme
For one mark multiple choice questions, one-third mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. Likewise, for multiple choice questions which are each of two marks, two-third mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. In 3rd round minimum rank will come down to AIR 800~900. For other NITs the minimum rank will be from AIR 900 to AIR 1500. Below AIR 620 you can get IITs or IIIT-[H/B/A] or BITS “easily” depending on your performance in entrance test and interviews conducted by the respective institutes.

Yes, ofcourse it is different for different branch. GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering, which is conducted by seven IITs and IISC Bangalore. From 2018, one new course has been added i.e. Statistics. Mathematics and Aptitude sections are common to all branches.
