Using a homeward bone will not warp to another bonfire. This is why the player should not kill the firekeeper as long as Gwyndolin is alive, because he will be able to warp from this bonfire. Killing Gwynevere will be considered as a permanent sin in PvE.
The Duke's archives (located in Anor Londo), the Catacombs (Near the firelink shrine), or the Demon Ruins (near Qwelaag's lair).
After Anor Londo you can choose to go to 4 different areas: the closest one to Anor Londo is the Duke's Archives. As for New Londo, the above poster in his big speech forgot to tell you that you need a specific ring before you complete that area, which you get by killing the big wolf in Darkroot Forest.
It is also possible to save Solaire by not speaking to him at the Anor Londo bonfire, or at any point before then. Then progress through the game as normal, Solaire will not be at the bonfire after the Centipede demon and will not go insane. Kill the bugs, then return to Solaire and proceed through his quest line.
How to Ceaseless Discharge the easy way. This fight can be easily won almost immediately. This can be done by aggroing Ceaseless Discharge at the corpse, then running back towards the Fog Gate. He will slam his hand down, hit it a few times, and then Ceaseless Discharge will clip off of the edge and to his doom.
The Four Kings is the boss fight after exploring New Londo Ruins in Dark Souls. If you're looking for more help, our Dark Souls walkthrough and guide can help with all other areas of the game, including the dreadedTaurus Demon, Capra Demon, Ornstein and Smough bosses.
After placing the Lordvessel, the altar in Firelink Altar will also double as a bonfire, and will be kindled by offering Lord Souls. When fully kindled it offers 20 Estus Flask.

- Duke's Archives = right side of anor londo bonfire.
- Tomb of giants = after catacombs.
- Abyss = new londo.
Siding with Frampt or Kaathe will not actually affect the ending; their dialogue may influence you in the choice made after defeating the final boss (and, having defeated them, you MUST make a choice and can't continue the current playthrough).
If you give the Lordvessel to Kaathe, he'll let you join the Darkwraith Covenant, something he will not let you do if you give the Lordvessel to Frampt. Giving the Lordvessel to Kaathe will also make Frampt disappear for the rest of the game. Your choice!
Usage. He will relate to the player their destiny, as well as other story-related information. He may be asleep when you approach him but you may wake him by attacking him once. Alternatively, jump down the hole to the Firelink Chamber (you suffer no damage) then warp back to the Firelink Shrine and he should be awake.
Players still have the ability to warp, even after placing the Lordvessel. The Lordvessel itself acts as a bonfire after being placed, and will grant Estus according to how many Lord Souls have been added to it.
The best strategy is to lure them out of hiding in small groups (ideally one or two at a time), and kill them with a fire weapon after blocking their attacks. Weapons with fast attack speeds are also useful as the ghosts are easy to interrupt.
You get the ability to fast travel to a select few (note: few) bonfires after you defeat the boss of Anor Londo.
Location. Kaathe can be found near The Abyss bonfire after you have defeated The Four Kings, provided that you haven't yet placed the Lordvessel on the Firelink Altar.
Before we go deeper into the Catacombs, it may be worth collecting a few items in the cemetery. Once you're there, look down to the left. You should see a corpse near a cliff edge. Kill the two skeletons who guard this corpse then loot it for a Large Soul of a Lost Undead.
Ornstein, however, is male. Artorias is male, while Hawkeye is unknown. Those are the four knights of Gwyn.
After killing Ornstein, Smough will inherit some of his powers in a rather peculiar way.
Executioner Smough was the last knight left to defend the Cathedral of Anor Londo, home of the Gods, after Dragonslayer Ornstein took his eventual leave. Smough was, in fact, a cannibal, grinding the victims of his job of Executioner into his meals. This behavior is what kept him from joining Gwyn's Knights.
Ornstein & Smough boss fight is NOT optional (confirmed)
It is kind of odd that you can parry him and not Ornstein, regardless.
The Nameless King is SenOrnstein eventually became the leader of the Four Knights of Gwyn and presumably the rest of Gwyn's Silver Knights.
Executioner Smough (The Hammer Wielder)If Ornstein is defeated first, a cinematic will show him get crushed and absorbed by Smough, who gains lightning attacks, which cause large amounts of damage.
The sentinels in dark souls 1 are illusions that can hurt us. They evaporate, and make the same death sound that gwyneveres illusion does when it evaporates. "Soul of Ornstein, Dragonslayer Knight who guards the cathedral in the forsaken city of Anor Londo.
User Info: infinitexx. Ornstein is easier when both are alive, and harder when he's the only one left.
I typically fight Ornstein and Smough at levels 40-60 (usually in the middle near 50) because that was prime coop range when DS was released. (I use to play on xbox.) It's easier to be invaded than find summons in this game.
The most prominent question over the lifespan of Dark Souls 3 is what happened to Smough. It is widely accepted that Ornstein went off to go find The Nameless King and follow the Path of the Dragon. In the end, he becomes the Storm Drake during the boss fight with The Nameless King.
