Through the Forest
- Make a left when you first enter the forest. Now continue on north and turn left again to get your hands on a Poké Ball.
- Make your way east, pass the area where you first entered and go up north.
- Don't bother going right.
- Follow the path north, then south through two grassy areas.

Diglett's Cave (Japanese: ?????? Digda's Hole) is a long tunnel dug by wild Diglett and Dugtrio in Kanto. The northern entrance is on Route 2, south of Pewter City, and the southern entrance is on Route 11, near the eastern edge of Vermilion City (although in Generation II, it is located within Vermilion City).
Diglett gives 1 Effort Point and Dugtrio 2, and there are no other Pokémon in the cave. Pokémon holding a Macho Brace gains double Effort Points in the battle, however it makes the holder temporarily slower. This underground cave connects Route 2 and Route 11. It's full of Diglett and Dugtrio.
Travel Through the Cave
Diglett's Cave is east of Vermilion City. Go in and go down the ladder. In this area, you can encounter wild Diglett, Dugtrio, Zubat, and others. Go northwest until you reach a ladder.Then, all you need to do is press X to head to the menu and look at the map. Then, if you look for the Pallet Town option, you will then be able to use Sky Dash to go there. After a short animation and a few seconds, you'll arrive at the town you started at in Pokemon Let's Go, just as you did in the original games.
Route 4 can, in fact, be reached from Cerulean City, by using Surf, Trainers can Surf along to western part of Route 24, south to Cerulean Cave. Trainers can then travel west, past a Lass on the highest hill, and then jump down the remaining ledges to access this section of the route.
Once you beat the trainers there and leave, you'll be able to talk to the man right outside the Rocket Game Corner. He'll reward you with the Sky Dash move, allowing you to quickly travel back to any area you've visited before. Then, all you need to do is press X to head to the menu and look at the map.
