1. Havok. By far one of the most heartbreaking deaths in X-Men: Apocalypse is that of Havok, aka Alex Summers, who dies trying to stop Apocalypse from abducting Professor X. When he unleashes his plasma blasts at a teleporting Apocalypse, the clash causes an explosion that takes down the entire mansion.
Dark Phoenix is not more powerful than Green Phoenix, the only real difference is the amount of control Jean has over the phoenix force. Apocalypse never fought the full blown Phoenix by himself. And Green Phoenix is severely limited compared to Dark Phoenix.
Ultimately, Jean was able to physically rip Apocalypse from Summers' body using her mental powers, and Cable destroyed Apocalypse's essence with his own telepathic powers. However, Apocalypse did not die, but managed to regenerate in a tomb in Akkaba.
The short clip included the words “Essex Corp”, which is a direct reference to Nathaniel Essex aka Mister Sinister, an X-Men super-villain. In the comics, Essex is a scientist from the 19th century who is given immortality by Apocalypse, after joining him as one of his Four Horsemen.
In the comics Apocalypse has been shown to be able to give powers to mutants (or humans, such as Ahab) but he does that through technological means by utilizing both his own expertise in genetics and also through the Celestial technology he has access to.
Jean tapped into the powers of the Phoenix Force to defeat Apocalypse. The Phoenix Force is sentient, cosmic energy of immeasurable power. In the comics, Jean comes into contact with the Phoenix Force while traveling through space, but in the films, she's born with the connection.
pretty much anyone who could take stryfe, hulk, or thor can take out apocalypse. main people are magneto (who beat him in two different universes) and anyone one sorcerer supreme level (to my knowledge, apocalypse doesn't really have a magic defense).
1 IMMORTALITY
While Jean Grey has died many times, the Phoenix Force is immortal and always brings her back from the grave. Since Jean Grey is the One True Phoenix, this means that she can never completely die either and will always return.Franklin Richards
He is quite possibly the strongest mutant to ever exist.8 Strength
Apocalypse is one of the strongest beings on the planet. He has been shown to be powerful enough to trade blows with heavy hitters such as Hulk and the Juggernaut. While his base level strength is already at unprecedented levels, Apocalypse also has the ability to augment it.When Jean Grey became the Dark Phoenix, the only one capable of defeating The Phoenix was Jean herself. The Phoenix Force's power is the ultimate sensation and temptation, and when one gives into it they are essentially God. Jean was only able to beat it by rejecting the power, and taking her own life.
Apocalypse, En Sabah Nur, The First One. He is a mutant because he possesses traits that wouldn't come from being a hybrid. Like his ankle wings and he's stronger than any human or Atlantean. Namor is a mutant hybrid.

Dark Phoenix (also marketed and later released on home media as X-Men: Dark Phoenix) is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics X-Men characters. It is a sequel to 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse, the seventh and final mainline installment in the X-Men film series, and the twelfth installment overall.
Also worth mentioning is that Essex has some connections with Apocalypse. In pursuing his research, Essex made a deal with the villain to become immortal. So the biggest takeaway of the end-credits scene is that it hints at the addition of a few new characters to the "X-Men" movie universe, including a big villain.
Thanos is strong, Apocalypse is way stronger. Apocalypse without any help from stones or gloves at his base level kills Thanos without the gauntlet. Apocalypse at full power does not even fight Thanos because Thanos would not even be there to fight a battle he knew he had no chance of winning.
It finally erupted as Dark Phoenix in comics. Coming to answer the question - This all powerful Phoenix force is what Jean unleashed on Apocalypse in the final scene of the movie. Apocalypse himself is a very powerful mutant, but simply no match against a power of this scale.
After young Jean Grey (Turner) has sacrificed herself in order to save the other X-Men and the world, we hear in a voiceover that she has not died but evolved beyond humanity. Meanwhile, Xavier has decamped to Europe.

Wolverine was the inly one who could get vlose to Jean. The small part of Jean that had any control still had feelings for Logan which kept her from killing him outright, reducing even his adamantium skeleton to atoms. This gave him the opportunity to get close and end her suffering.
Early on, Jean, played by Famke Janssen, wreaks havoc, killing both Cyclops and Professor X (the latter because he messed with her brain to suppress the Dark Phoenix persona that was inside her all along). But then she becomes a glorified stooge to Magneto and disappears for much of the third act.
And this time, it was not a copy of her mind and body, but really her. But when Magneto sent an electromagnetic pulse during a battle with the X-Men, he gave Jean a massive stroke. To save her from an agonizing death, Wolverine stabbed her and killed her (a moment echoed in X-Men: The Last Stand).
As per comics, the Phoenix force connected with a young Jean when she felt the power of her mind. It finally erupted as Dark Phoenix in comics. It was Phoenix force who helped Jean in killing Apocalypse so easily, because for someone who can destroy entire worlds, it was very easy.
As the Phoenix was the light and life of the universe, the Dark Phoenix represented power and destruction. The Phoenix became Dark Phoenix due to allowing human emotions to cloud its judgment. In this state, Phoenix was the strongest, but also an evil entity that thirsted for power and destruction.
Xavier and Magneto play one final game of chess at the end of Dark Phoenix. After young Jean Grey (Turner) has sacrificed herself in order to save the other X-Men and the world, we hear in a voiceover that she has not died but evolved beyond humanity. He also offers him a spot in Magneto's peaceful colony of mutants.
The Phoenix is destroyed when Jean is euthanized by Wolverine. The Dark Phoenix Saga is alluded to in X-Men: Apocalypse; in the final battle against Apocalypse, Professor X encourages Jean to use the full extent of her abilities to defeat Apocalypse.
In the original ending, Jean does not revert to Dark Phoenix, and the Shi'ar subject her to a "psychic lobotomy", permanently removing all her telepathic or telekinetic powers.
Second death
In a final confrontation with a traitor at the institute (the X-Men's teammate Xorn, posing as Magneto) Jean fully realizes and assumes complete control of the powers of the Phoenix Force, but is killed in a last-ditch lethal attack by Xorn. Jean dies, telling Scott "to live".Xavier and Magneto play one final game of chess at the end of Dark Phoenix. He blames himself for Jean's death.
Alison Blaire / Dazzler briefly appears in Dark Phoenix, portrayed by Halston Sage. She is singing and displaying her powers to her fellow students at a party.

Years later when Jean was dying on a space shuttle, her mind called out for help and the Phoenix Force answered and saved her, transforming Jean into the Phoenix.
