SEAL Team is losing a member behind the scenes: Showrunner John Glenn is exiting the CBS drama ahead of the upcoming Season 3 after producer CBS TV Studios conducted an investigation into claims made against him, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
CBS is cutting ties with “SEAL Team” showrunner John Glenn, Variety has confirmed. Glenn joined the show for its second season, which premiered in October of last year. The series stars David Boreanaz as Jason Hayes, the leader of the Tier One team whose home life is suffering.

The producers provide glimpses of Virginia Beach in the series, which airs at 9 p.m. Wednesdays. That Virginia Beach is also the creation of the show's imaginative writers. "SEAL Team" is filmed far from Virginia in and around Southern California, including the CBS Studio Center in the San Fernando Valley.
People have been especially worried about the character of Sonny, especially after that dramatic episode from last season when he got stuck in a torpedo tube and nearly drowned. At this time, however, it appears that Sonny's many fans can relax: There's no news of him leaving the show.
CBS will air S.W.A.T. Season 3, Episode 11 on Wednesday, January 15 at 10 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. CT, with the show continuing in its new time slot from fall.

CBS has ordered a third season of military drama series SEAL Team. The network also today renewed S.W.A.T. , Madam Secretary, Bull, Hawaii-Five-O and MacGyver, and magazine shows 60 Minutes and 48 Hours, bringing the total number of series renewed for next year to 18. SEAL Team is produced by CBS TV Studios.
