Square's inventory management gives you basic tools to keep a clear count of in-stock items in your item library. 2.Create A New Item
- Go to the items tab in your Square Dashboard. Click on “Create Item”.

Your Android device can scan any barcode or QR code by using a free app from the Play Store. Once you've installed the barcode scanning app, your device's camera can be used as a scanner. You can then take different actions depending on the content contained in the barcode.

The document scanner is tucked away in the Notes app on iPhone and iPad. Tap Scan Document from the list of options. Line up the document you want to scan. If the scanner doesn't automatically scan, tap the shutter button to manually scan the document.
Inserting a Single Barcode into Microsoft Excel

QR is short for Quick Response (they can be read quickly by a cell phone). They are used to take a piece of information from a transitory media and put it in to your cell phone. The other key feature of QR Codes is that instead of requiring a chunky hand-held scanner to scan them, many modern cell phones can scan them.
Android versions 8 and 9 can automatically scan QR codes without an app. Some older Android versions will also receive the latest update.
There is no limited scan-life for QR Codes and they do not expire, in case of dynamic QR Codes. However, in the case of static QR Codes, they expire. If a static QR Code expires, it won't work – meaning, it won't direct you to a landing webpage, basically stalling the purpose of the QR Code.

The 3 'Big Boxes' are called Position Markers and the 'Small Box' is called the Alignment Marker. These markers help a scanner identify the position and orientation of a QR Code. Because of this, a scanner is able to scan a QR Code even if it is rotated by any number of degrees.
Scan a document
