Southmead is a bad area, it has a reputation for a reason and it isn't just because of all the hospital parking. Plenty of crime and anti social behaviour. Sadly if you want to be close to town, unless you have big money, you won't be able to live any where nice.
HICL Infrastructure Company has agreed to take over the stake in a 35-year concession to design, build, finance, operate and maintain an 800-bed acute hospital on a site at Southmead in North Bristol on behalf of the North Bristol NHS Trust.
