You can get the /vanish plugin with the bukkit essentials i think and do /v to turn invisible and you wont show up on player list Rollback …

I have noticed more server Admins and ops having Vanish to catch & ban players (me), I use Nodus which is GREAT but I don’t think it has an anti vanish or something to detect invisible players. I just got caught mining directly to diamond and my radar didn’t pick up anything so he had to of been using vanish.
I found this, do a CTRL + F and type in invisibility. You’ll see that it’s in one of the fields in the Potion constructor. Which is according to the constructor body, the liquid color. Afther drinking a few potions and debugging (I have for example invisibility, fire resistence and regen at the same time) I came with this in my console :

X-ray is a mod or texture pack that makes all blocks invisible excepts ores, water, lava, chests and other non-natural blocks like cobblestone, wooden planks etc. OP has placed a load of diamond ore which X-ray users will see and tunnel down to. Then OP can catch then red-handed

Why can’t I see voids when I mine?
When you mine, your client would not know what is behind the wall thus this issue would need to be addressed to avoid seeing void until the server sends the block data. So the server might have to send data on blocks you can see and blocks you could see if you just mined one block, so that you won’t have this problem.
