I've been using the free Kontakt Player for years, which has limitations on running some of the instruments made for the NI sampler. I could never pull the trigger on upgrading to the full version for $399. A little to steep.
Not bad for nothing. Yeah, so that's pretty darn great, a whole bunch of stuff that's useful to everyone who doesn't have Komplete already. It's great to see the Komplete Kontrol software making it's way out into a larger world because it's a really useful way to access NI content in a single interface.
Yes, the full version of Kontakt 5 is included in the Komplete 10 bundle. You should not have to buy it separately. You will need to authorise / activate the bundle (and, perhaps, some of the included libraries?).
