The NTSE important dates 2021 have been announced by NCERT for the aspiring and eligible candidates. NTSE 2021 Registration Dates- The dates to submit the NTSE 2021 Application were announced in October 2020. NTSE Exam Dates 2021 - Stage 1 of NTSE 2021 has been conducted on December 12 & 13, 2020 and other dates.
NTSE Stage-II exam was to be held on June 13. “Due to prevailing situation of COVID-19 in the Country and the enforced lockdown in different states/UTs, it is decided to postpone the NTSE stage –II exam which was scheduled to be held on June 13, 2021,†said the official notice.
The candidates who wish to give NTSE exam in class X must have cleared the class IX examination from a recognized board. The candidate must have completed the class IX examination with a minimum of 60% marks. The candidates must have obtained a degree recognized by the board.

Only Class 10th students are eligible to write NTSE Exam paper provided the student is studying in a School recognized by the government. The Student should be below 18 years of age. Previously employed students are not eligible to write NTSE paper. Open Distance Learning (ODL) Students are also eligible.

Exam Dates: NTSE Stage 1 exam will be held on 2 Nov 2019 for the regions such as Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Andaman & Nicobar Islands. On 3 Nov 2019 for all other states and Union Territories and on 17 Nov 2019 for Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Jammu & Kashmir. NTSE Stage 2 exam will be on 10 May 2020.

The Stage 1 exam is a state-level exam and is conducted by all the Indian states and UTs. NCERT conducts Stage 2 exam which is a National level examination. Only those students who qualify in NTSE stage 1 will be eligible to appear for the Stage II exam.

Candidates who are enrolled in an open school for class 10 are qualified to take the exam. Candidates in class IX are also qualified to take the NTSE. The applicant must pass the class IX exam with a score of 60% or higher.
