The Fitbit Versa 2's battery life is excellent compared to the Apple Watch's. One of the biggest advantages Fitbit's smartwatch offers over the Apple Watch, other than its cheaper price, is its longer battery life. With that feature activated, the Versa 2 usually lasts for about two days.
Compared to the Apple Watch, on the Versa 2 you get the advantage of built-in sleep tracking that's pretty good, plus compatibility across Android and iOS. But it does lack GPS. For that, you'll need to look to the (now two-year-old) Fitbit Ionic ($188 at Amazon).
When you're browsing smartwatch accessories, don't forget to buy a screen protector for your Fitbit Versa 2. You wouldn't want any damage to ruin that beautiful color touchscreen, after all. You'll be able to keep your display safe and free of scratches with any one of these reliable screen protectors.
The Versa 2 delivers “five-plus” days. With battery life that good, dropping the device onto the charger when you shower each day seems to be enough to keep you from ever having to worry about whether you've got enough juice for the next 24 hours.
Currently, music playback is supported by the Versa, Versa 2, Versa Lite, and Ionic. You'll also need a Spotify Premium account to be able to stream music from your account on the Fitbit; regular ad-listeners won't be able to take advantage of the integration.
The Fitbit Versa, Versa 2, and Versa Lite all feature water resistance up to a depth of 50 meters.
Fitbit Alta HRFitbit just made the slimmest fitness band with continuous heart rate monitoring. With expanded sleep features and week-long battery life, it's a near-perfect activity tracker.
On one hand, the $199 Fitbit Versa 2 offers great metrics on overall wellness and puts Alexa's AI powers at your fingertips. The Charge 4, meanwhile, oozes a sporty aesthetic, delivers an impressive week-long battery life, has built-in GPS, and is $50 less.

The second big selling point here is that the Fitbit Ace is suitable for kids of ages 8 and up. Previously, Fitbit were only meant to be used by kids of 13 and over due to data protection laws. Now, there's a new family account feature that allows parents to control information that the device collects.
Wear your device on top of your wrist. For best results, the back of your device should be in contact with your skin for features like heart-rate tracking.
Just to start by going over old ground, the Charge 4's heart rate accuracy is solid – but it will let you down at the highest intensity (as all optical monitors will). Across a number of steady runs, we were really pleased how it performed compared to a chest strap, even in the 190+ bpm range.
It's not too large, not too small, and should be fine on a wide variety of wrist sizes. It's also very lightweight and the tapered design hides the bulk of the watch well. The Versa 2 is one of the few wearables that I've been able to comfortably wear 24/7, even while sleeping.

Today, Fitbit introduced the Fitbit Versa 3, the latest generation of its popular Versa smartwatch, with key new features and just a small bump in price. It now has onboard GPS, Google Assistant (it previously had only Alexa), and the ability for Android users to answer calls from their wrist.
If you use an Android phone with your Fitbit Versa 2, you can respond to messages received on the watch via preset and customizable quick replies. Currently, SMS text messages, Twitter, Gmail, Facebook Messenger, and Line all allow for this quick reply functionality on Fitbit devices such as the Versa 2.
Overall winner: Fitbit Versa 3There isn't too much in it, but the Fitbit Versa 3 squeaks past the Versa 2. The inclusion of built-in GPS, Google Assistant, a new heart monitor, and fast charging give it the edge over its predecessor.
