The objective of Don't Starve Together is pretty much right in the name. You and your friends are in a world where darkness is your worst enemy and your daily goal is to find enough to eat, while you work to build a base camp and fight to survive against Monsters.
Don't Starve TogetherPlayers can also be revived by another player using a Telltale Heart. Resurrection incurs a maximum-health penalty, unless a Life Giving Amulet, a Meat Effigy, or a Touch Stone was used for the resurrection.
The Pig King can be found in one of the larger Pig Settlements in the world map you're in. You cannot attack or be attacked by the Pig King, you can give it various meats(excluding Monster Meat) in exchange for a Gold Nugget or various miscellaneous items dug up from graves to recieve many Gold Nuggets.
Yes, yes it does. It all starts when you start up a world. First, you have to find a thing called Maxwell's Door in normal Sandbox Mode.
DS is harder than DST. Except in DST you have to deal with higher enemy health, worse armor, the Antlion during summer, disease, bigger more confusing caves, and possibly other players if you're on a public server/have less experienced friends.
Boulders do not respawn; however, Rocks, Flint, Gold Nuggets, and Nitre are renewable resources because they can be found after Earthquakes while underground.
Boards are Refined Items crafted with 4 Logs. A Science Machine is required to prototype a Board. They are used in the construction of various items and structures. Boards are also highly flammable and can be used as Fuel.
I would say it is absolutely worth it, especially if you have at least one friend to play it with. If you are planning on playing solo more, though, i would recommend the standard Don't Starve. It has the shipwrecked expansion which is amazing.
One of the most exciting parts of this bundle is undoubtedly the release of Don't Starve Together. This new entry in the Don't Starve collection will support up to six players online and for the first time ever, support split-screen couch co-op both locally and online!
Don't starve together can be played alone by hosting a world and setting the max player count to "1", which makes the world an "Alone" type world. And DST makes all mobs health at least 2x making fighting much much harder.

The quickest method of killing the Deerclops requires Gunpowder and a Torch. Gunpowder deals 200 damage, and thus, 10 units of them would instantly kill the Deerclops.
