22, 2017, 7:37 p.m. Dan Stevens stars in FX's "Legion." CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The obese, yellow-eyed creature often appears in the background during the FX's "X-Men" spinoff "Legion," often staring ominously at series protagonist David Haller.
David Haller is the son of Professor Charles Xavier and Gabrielle Haller, who later became the Israeli ambassador to the United Kingdom. Charles and Gabrielle Haller had an affair in Israel nearly two decades ago, and Charles was unaware when he left Israel that Haller was pregnant with his son.
He was unable to control his powers so he was in mental contact with everyone that died and absorbed the mind of the terrorist leader. This resulted in him having multiple personality disorder. Each personality is it's own Omega Level mutant.
Again, Franklin is the most powerful Mutant within the main continuity of the Marvel Universe. Technically, all the powers these two characters have - Franklin Richards will have them as an adult. Your list is missing some of the most powerful mutants there are.
As it turns out, the final battle in Season 2 isn't against the Shadow King Amahl Farouk, but against the darker aspects of David Haller's own subconscious.
From their perspectives, David ended the world by traveling 33 years into the past — à la “Legion Quest.” Now, had a fourth season occurred, it is entirely possible we would've seen new versions of these characters grappling with echoes from the world before.

When Xavier died, the Shadow King became an agent of Apocalypse and appeared as a cloudy face in a bottle in his sanctum. Apocalypse used him to hunt down resisting mutants with powerful psionic powers, and train those that do agree to come aboard.
The Devil with the Yellow Eyes (portrayed by Quinton Boisclair) is a grotesque creature that haunts Haller, one of the forms of the Shadow King.
In the final scene, David and ex-girlfriend Syd Barrett (Rachel Keller) both fade away from existence, as the infant version of David earns a new shot at a better life. It's a fairly peaceful ending for Legion, which reliably zigs where most series would zag.
Legion becomes a literal horror show with one of its creepiest threats ever. David Haller's veneer of faux-enlightenment is wearing awfully thin. “Be nice, or I can't be nice,” he gently threatens Lenny, after she pushes him to get riled up.
Originally Answered: What mutant class level is wolverine? Wolverine is considered a Beta level Mutant. Mostly though, he's just not an Omega class Mutant. In the mainstream Marvel 616 continuity they mostly only use the Omega class to describe the very powerful Mutants.
Legion only wins in one very specific situation. Thanos wins every other time. So Legion, in the comics, has reality warping powers and pretty much every power under the sun. David has telepathy and minor reality warping at this point.
In lieu of that, we've compiled together a list of OP mutants who can overpower Legion.
- 1 HYPERSTORM (JONATHAN RICHARDS)
- 2 JAMIE BRADDOCK.

- 6 APOCALYPSE (EN-SABAH-NUR)
- 7 SCARLET WITCH (WANDA MAXIMOFF)
- 8 ABSALOM.

Known superhuman powers: Legion was a mutant with three superhuman psionic powers. He was a telepath, capable of reading minds and projecting his thoughts into the minds of others.
In addition to his telepathy and telekinesis, Haller is able to warp reality at will, and even travel through time. His most remarkable abilities, as well as his most threatening, are his split personalities. Thanos has no chance against Legion.
