Character information
Aladdin, also known as Prince Ali Ababwa, is the main protagonist of the Aladdin franchise. The reason we think of the story as one of the true-born Arabian Nights is that many of the characters in the tale of Aladdin are Arabian Muslims with Arabic names. But Aladdin is Chinese … at least, he is if you go back to the known origins of the story.
For starters, Naomi Scott, the actress playing princess Jasmine is half Indian. Her dresses look more Indian than Arabian. This suggests that Jasmine's mom was Indian and she got her pet tiger from there. In the new remake of Aladdin, it suggests that princess Jasmine is half Indian.
You can't help but to notice Aladdin's capuchin sidekick Abu is a star, just starting with those deeply expressive eyes. Yet the monkey is an entirely computer-generated creation who plays drums, comically sticks dates under his hat or, his best moment, lays down and scratches his belly.
Aladdin's look was originally inspired by Michael J. Fox, but then they based him more off of Tom Cruise. Jeffrey Katzenberg, then-chairman of Walt Disney Studios, suggested they base Aladdin's persona off Tom Cruise in "Top Gun."
Freed by Iago, Jafar steals the lamp and becomes the Genie's new master. Aladdin taunts Jafar for being second in power to the Genie, goading him into using his last wish to become "the most powerful being in the universe", and the Genie transforms Jafar into an even more powerful genie.
Sindbad Alibaba and Aladdin is a 1965 Indian Hindi-language musical fantasy-adventure film by Prem Narayan Arora. It features the three most popular characters from the Arabian Nights.
Disney fans, this is why Aladdin's Princess Jasmine really wears blue. Just like every other Disney princess before her, Jasmine will be wearing blue in the new Aladdin film – and she has a brilliant reason for doing so, too.
How old is Jasmine and Aladdin?
The color jasmine is a pale tint of yellow, displayed at right. It is a representation of the average color of the more yellowish lower part of the pale yellowish white colored jasmine flower. The first recorded use of jasmine as a color name in English was in 1925.
In the past, credit for telling the tale of Aladdin has often gone to Antoine Galland, a scholar and diplomat who served as a secretary to the French ambassador to Constantinople in the 17th century.
Animated and designed by Glen Keane, Aladdin is a traditionally handsome, slender, slightly muscular young man with broad shoulders, black, messy hair, thick matching eyebrows, and brown eyes.
Aladdin's Genie exists in a gaseous state and that's why, the molecules of the gas scatter shorter wavelengths of light too, making the giant appear blue.

A moral of the story of Aladdin as portrayed in the 1992 Walt Disney movie of the same name teaches that dishonesty does more harm than good in the long-term. According to Movie Guide, the fundamental lesson of the movie is one should remain true to self, accurately representing oneself without pretensions.
He was supposed to be designed as ugly, and Genie makes this obvious when he refers to him as "a tall, dark, sinister, ugly man." He is apparently completely bald, as evidenced by when he removes his beggar disguise, acting as the only time Jafar did not wear his distinctive headdress, although it was never made clear
The MPAA rated the new Aladdin PG for some action/peril, so it's quite possibly appropriate for some 4- and 5-year-olds. If your child is one who enjoys a good chase scene and can get caught up in the magic of a story then I wouldn't hesitate to take them to this film.
