That means you can defuse for 3.5 seconds, stop to defend, and then resume where you left off. Still, you’ll need defuse for seven seconds total in order to stop the spike from exploding.

It’s definitely there. Uhhhh it’s there, I can’t be a ton of help because I’m not on the game, but I set the spike button to f, that way f is my use button and button to plant/defuse, my guess is it’s either under equipment, or something like that. It’s there.
