Okay if you want to use the default texture then go to %appdata%. next you will go to .minecraft and go to bin and open minecraft with winrar. then go in mobs look for char.png and delete that then look for the skin you want to use. rename it char and move it into the mobs folder.
note : to use this texture pack , disable your wifi ,download a skin (hd skin works too ) then duplicate them and rename the files to alex.png and steve.png . place the files inside the entity folder in the texture pack. when you download a skin file , make sure the file size was 64×64 (may be bigger but make sure it is square size) .
