If you see yourself buying 36 packs individual in the store then yea booster boxes are worth it. A $90 booster box has each pack inside for $2.50 which is almost half price as in the stores. I've read that you have a 2.4% chance of pulling a HR/SR from a lone booster. There are 22 secret/hyper rares in the Burning Shadows, so divide that 2.4% by 22 and you get 0.1% percent. Multiply that 0.1% by the # of packs (36 per box) and you get roughly 3.6%.

You could each open a booster box and try to build a deck from it as if it were a sealed pool (but a very large one). If you are "sharing" the box between two or more people you can open up the box, lay every card on the floor/table, and then take turns to pick a card for your deck.
