Obviously, MotoGP bikes are better than World Superbike machines. A MotoGP engine accelerates with 260 horsepower and stops with carbon brakes. Rea's ZX-10R makes maybe 230 horsepower and uses steel brakes. But superbikes do have good things going for them.
The amount that these MotoGP Racing Bikes cost are mind-boggling. In general terms the figures range from $3 million to $3.5 million.
The MotoGP bike acceleration below about 120 mph is faster than an F1 car. At higher speeds the F1 car accelerates faster due to downforce creating more traction. Through corners the F1 car wins.

However, the global financial crisis of 2008 caused Kawasaki to reconsider its MotoGP program, and the Italian sports daily Tuttosport reported on December 30 that Kawasaki would be pulling out of MotoGP for 2009.MotoGP Rider

Q1 will consist of the riders whose times are 11th place and below, and will be a 15-minute session. During this time riders will have the incentive to qualify for Q2, which the two fastest of the session will be able to contest.
All motorcycles must be fuelled with unleaded petrol, which must comply with the FIM Grand Prix specification for each racing class.
Motorcycles have traditionally enjoyed an advantage over cars in acceleration due to their lighter weight, while cars normally have higher top speeds because they are more aerodynamically efficient, leaving two-wheeled and four-wheeled advocates at odds over which is truly faster.
It has six gears plus neutral. But the shifting pattern is reverse of the normal shifting pattern. Normally, 1st gear is down and the rest are up. But MotoGP bikes have the first gear up, and the rest of them down.
MotoGP Bikes for the Street – Road Legal Superbikes. The MotoGP is the king class of motorcycle racing and technology carrier for upcoming superbikes and road machines. Since the series is a prototype race series, no homogolation models are necessary in the MotoGP and thus road versions of these bikes are rare.
1. MotoGP riders average over 100mph during races. Bradley Smith, who competes for the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team, races a Yamaha YZR-M1 which has a top speed of 215mph. Even on the twists and turns of a MotoGP race circuit he still averages about 110mph.
The engine is designed for the public, or for production racers, so it is more friendly. They have less electronics. On the contrary, our MotoGP bikes are projected to have maximum power and performance. In this case, traction control doesn't compromise the ride, but in MotoGP we need it."

MotoGP does have pit stops, sometimes. Flag-to-flag races, in MotoGP happen when the weather deteriorates part way through the race and it becomes necessary to change tyres. This is not a quick process on Motorcycles, so they change the whole machine.

bmw doesn't have a full factory race division so racing clearly isn't their top priority. also, motogp is a prototype class whereas wsb is homologation (meaning the bikes are based on road bikes) so bmw would have to develop a whole new bike, which is horrendously expensive, to compete in motogp.
The Major Difference between MotoGP and Superbikes is that the MotoGP bikes are Prototypes, ie the bikes are made, not produced. The Superbikes on the other hand are produced on a mass scale (in consideration to the number of MotoGP bikes made).
After some good amount of time and money these technologies may reach the road going bikes one such technology in MotoGP bikes is the Seamless Transmission. Since dual clutch transmission is not allowed in MotoGP and Formula one both MotoGP bikes and Formula one cars uses seamless transmission.
You can't buy a full MotoGP beast, but these bikes are the closest thing you can get to owning a race-spec machine for the road. And then you couldn't ride the bike anyway – these machines are track-only and require a special racing license.
Superbike racing motorcycles must have four-stroke engines of between 850 cc and 1200 cc for twins, and between 750 cc and 1000 cc for four cylinder machines.
The new category, called British GP2, will allow for current Honda-powered Moto2 machinery that has been used in World or European Championship competition as well as new, independent constructor projects utilising any 600cc four cylinder or 675cc three cylinder engines to a technical specification very similar to
"The three-cylinder has 140 HP and has to cover 1500 kilometres flat out" The Triumph three-cylinder used in Moto2 achieves 140 HP and 14,000 rpm, while the road version peaks at 12,700. Performance is important, but so is reliability.
Honda's new NSF250R Moto3 engine gives a claimed 48 hp at 13,000 rpm, a power level which makes it equal to one cylinder of a BMW S1000RR—filling its cylinder quite well but not yet making full use of the permitted rpm redline.
