Edelgard can never be spared, but she doesnt die in her route. Dimitri has a bad habit of dying in the timeskip of every route but his own.
User Info: Celica. He tore it out in rage over losing his waifu.
If you don't join Edelgard, neither Dimitri or Claude will join you and you will instead form your own house but you will keep whoever you have already recruited minus Edelgard and Hubert.
Three Houses has more content, better writing, more interesting characters, much more replayability and overall a deeper mechanics system as well, while Awakening still has one foot in past FE mechanics and one foot in newer ones (experimenting with skills and reclassing without making either easy to get, new mobility
Edelgard, also Adalgard, Edelgart, or Ethelgard, is a female given name of German origin, now rare. In Old High German, it combines the words for "noble" (adal, modern German edel) and "guard" (gard). Persons of this name include: Edelgard Huber von Gersdorff, German supercentenarian.
The experiment failed since she wasn't pure enough to hold Sothis powah. Clone Rhea fell in love with Jeralt and they had a kid, wich is Byleth. Genetically speaking, Rhea is his mother. 3/4 of Byleths blood come from Rhea and 1/4 from Jeralt.
If you agree to join, the Flame Emperor will anger. He says he can tell you're lying, and that your hatred for him is clear. He refuses your answer and leaves. In the end though, there's no way to actually join the Flame Emperor, so it won't matter whether you pick yes or no.

Felix becomes a mercenary and Sylvain becomes the Margrave, and they go their separate ways. Felix does a job for a Sylvain, then they never meet again, and then Sylvain one day gets Felix's sword on his doorstep. :'(
Normal DifficultyOne route takes 30-35 hours to finish, if you use every weekend to either explore or battle. This will take slightly longer if you grind the endless battles and professor level through fishing.
The Fire Emblem games are generally not connected, in a similar way that the Zelda games or the Final Fantasy games aren't. There are some sequels (Path of Radiance => Radiant Dawn), but generally, each game is in its own world. Fire Emblem: Three Houses is one of those.
Go to the roster page on one of the pages it will show the characters that particular character has the three most support points with. If you want a paired ending you need to make sure both characters have each other as their number one.
How to Set Adjutants in Fire Emblem Three Houses. Just before a battle, select the Units option from the prep menu and hover your cursor over one of your main units. Then, press the Y button to set an Adjutant, and you'll see a list of units available for pairing. Select the unit you want to pair, and you're good to go
For the final story choice, if Chrom kills Grima, you get the 'normal' ending with epilogues for each character still alive, and a simple listing of what battle a fallen character died in (and the knowledge that Grima will come back in 500 years). In theory, MyUnit is dead in order to destroy Grima once and for all.
The only way for Grima to die is for him to "be killed by his own hand." Naga points them to Origin Peak to confront Grima. Upon arriving at the peak, Robin realizes that, since they were meant to be Grima's vessel, they have the power to slay him.
Here's what we prefer!
- Azure Moon (Blue Lions) The Blue Lions' route is the best “starter pack” for Three Houses.
- Verdant Wind (Golden Deer)
- Crimson Flower (Black Eagles – Edelgard)
- Silver Snow (Black Eagles – Church of Seiros)
You kill Grima on the first or second turn of the battle, before the enemies have a chance to cause you major problems. Rescue staves and Galeforce help a lot here, as does a Dark Mage for Hex/Anathema to help your hit rate. Basically, you want to bring the Parallel Falchion and Exalted Falchion against him.
You want to press the A button when a gold/yellow icon appears. Using better bait and getting a Perfect combo will increase your chances of getting silver fish.
Although the female version of Byleth can romance other female characters like Edelgard and Dorothea, male Byleth's sole gay romance option is not what it seems, at all. As such, there are zero gay romance options for male Byleth in Fire Emblem Three Houses.
Romance As Male or Female BylethEdelgard will be available to romance, regardless of which gender you have chosen for Byleth. However, it is required for you to be in the Black Eagles House to romance her.
User Info: LinenOracle94. You can marry Sothis no matter the route or gender. Heck, it's even the default option! Sothis doesn't even care you helped destroy the religion that worships her, killed her/your daughter, and removed all influence she had on Fodlan.

Hanneman also became a father in more literal sense, by raising many children with his wife, Dorothea. Their marriage was not publicly known, however, as the songstress elected to keep it secret for the sake of both of their careers.
Edelgard is definitely a controversial character, and while a lot of players downright HATE her, I've seen some who believe she is one of the best written lords/antagonists in the series. It's definitely hard to stomach her methods (she's rather snakey and calculated), but her reasons for doing so are what interest me.
