Directions to Torrey Pines State BeachOption two is the roadside parking along the southbound shoulder of PCH. Options three and four are both within the State Park at the south end of the beach. An entrance fee ($10.00 per vehicle) is collected at the gate which is open from 8:00 a.m. until sunset daily.

The Torrey Pines South Course is the more challenging of the two and is the host of the 2008 & 2021 U.S. Open Championships. The South course was originally designed by William Bell, Sr. in 1957, and is home to the Farmers Insurance Open PGA Golf Tournament (along with the North Course).

The Visitors Center and the Hiking Trails are on top of the Torrey Pines Mesa, which is a little more than 300 feet above the main parking lot and beach area. If you are not ready for this kind of exercise, you can drive up the hill and access a small paved parking lot next to the Visitors Center.

Usually, street parking at La Jolla Cove is your best bet. Look along Coast Blvd. for 2-hour spots. If not, and you've been circling a while, there are a couple of parking structures; most convenient is the one located underground inside the Coast Walk building structure (directly across from the Cave Store).
