Re: difference between cbr600f4i and cbr600rr? Cedric. You are correct in that it's more street oriented. The RR is agressively designed for the track, whereas the F4i is a great street machine which is excellent for track days and spirited canyon rides.

not the same. anyway, the answer is yes, there are two aftermarket slipper clutch solutions for the 2006 CBR600RR that i am aware of, one of which is Yoyodyne.
Interestingly, the “RR” that follows Honda's contemporary sport bikes simply indicates that it's a sporty, race-oriented model and doesn't actually stand for “race replica” or “race ready”. That said, Honda doesn't mind the rumor because It's good marketing.

It's not hard to start on a 600cc bike. It is hard to start on a supersport. Don't start on a CBR600. Bigger bikes amplify everything: they accelerate faster, they brake harder, they turn tiny mistakes into small ones, small mistakes into big ones, and big mistakes into fatal ones.
I use mine (nearly) everyday for about 10 years to commute and it's fine. Pretty comfortable and if you soften the forks a bit is quite enjoyable.
A 600cc engine size is a general starting point for beginner riders. A 600cc cruiser may have half the horsepower of a 600cc sportbike, so it will be dependent on the rider to find where they are comfortable with the type of motorcycle they are interested in.
