This is a uni-body device with an internal battery that cannot be removed. If you need to remove and re-insert the battery to soft reset the device, follow these steps: Press and hold the Power/Lock key and the Volume Down key at the same time. Wait for the device to restart, then release the buttons.
Yes it is to an IP67. 3.5 meters under water for 30mins. It seems to have some water proof ability to it, according to my research the boost Mobile version of it has an ip 68 rating as seen here: LG-Stylo-4_id10876/fullspecs .

- Use a SIM ejector tool to push in the small hole located to the right of your SIM card tray.
- Pull the SIM card tray completely out of your phone, and set aside.
- Place your thumbnail into the empty SIM tray slot and use a pry tool to gently work the back cover off your LG G2.
For android phone you may attempt to perform a Soft Reset:
- Press and hold the Volume Down and Power keys simultaneously until the device reboots. Typically this will take 11-12 seconds.
- Release the keys when you see the LG bootup logo.
LG Stylo™ 5 - Remove SIM Card
From the left edge of the device (display facing up), remove the card tray. Utilize the insertion / removal tool to remove the tray by inserting it into the provided slot. Remove the SIM card from the tray. From the bottom of the card, carefully lift to remove.Remove the back cover by placing the plastic opening tool on the bottom left side of the device and gently prying up. There is a small slit that fits the plastic opening tool perfectly on the left side.

Removing the SIM card
