What is the Glittering Boulder. The Glittering Boulder is a massive boulder in Stardew Valley which cuts off the main mining area from the rest of the village. Be removing the boulder you will unlock the ability to pan for minerals in every stream around the village.

Axes can be also used as a melee weapon. They deal more damage than swords, and a wooden axe has the same damage as a diamond sword. However, there are three drawbacks as a weapon: Attacking with an axe will cause it to take double durability damage.
While some outdoor axe throwing competitions use targets made out of actual cross sections of tree-trunks, it's more common for indoor recreational axe throwing targets to be made up of multiple vertical wood boards. These boards can be replaced if they become overly damaged and axes no longer stick in them.
Axe handles are traditionally made of hickory or ash. These woods are used for their strength and ability to withstand shock without splitting or cracking.

Iron Axe is a Recipe that can be created by combining: 100x Cedar Lumber. 150x Rock.
You can make a flimsy Axe with just 5 branches and a stone. Stones are easy to get, one appears next to each rock on your island every day, and branches can be fond by shaking trees (there's no limit to how many branches you can get each day, just keep shaking the tree and they'll keep parodically falling out).
The red coloring was obtained from vermilion (the natural form is a mineral called cinnabar). The next color that was introduced as an axe color was blue. It was usually used in specific areas on an axe head such as the “bevels” on W. C. Kelly axes.
The axe is one of the oldest tools developed by humans; since the Neolithic age, it has been a symbol of battle and work. All ancient traditions associated the axe with lightning, water, and fertility, and attributed to it the power of making or stopping rain.
Use this tool for anything from removing limbs to splitting firewood or kindling for starting a fire. The purpose of the Double Bit Axe head is to have one side razor sharp and the other side more dull and rounded. Use the razor sharp side for chopping and cutting, and use the duller, rounded side for splitting.
handle (also called a helve or haft) is known as the hang. The hang of an ax is always a matter of personal preference. You must hang your ax to suit you. The cutting edge of a well-hung ax is in an exact line with the end of the handle (Figure 31).

Before the modern axe, the stone-age hand axe without a handle was used from 1.5 million years BP. Hafted axes (those with a handle) date only from 6000BC. The earliest examples of handled axes have heads of stone with some form of wooden handle attached (hafted) in a method to suit the available materials and use.
The handle is a straight shaft and the head is coned out. The centripetal force of swinging the pick axe forces pick axe further onto the handle. No wedges.
