With all the combos, you can substitute your sides—coleslaw, fries or toast—for one another or an extra Cane's Sauce. Tip: If you get fries, make sure to order them extra crispy.
Although they don't have any healthier grilled options, their menu items are good for what they are — fried chicken and French fries. In terms of fries, a Raising Cane's order is also better for you than the same thing at Chick-Fil-A, which has more calories, fat, and sodium.
The fries are slightly lower in fat and calories. This still does not make up for the fact, however, that Raising Cane's only has fried chicken, while Chick-fil-a has healthier options like grilled chicken or salads.
There's a “secret” secret sauce.If you want a little more variety, ask for the off-menu honey mustard sauce.
You must get a drink! We really like their chicken fingers but it is impossible to get a dinner without ordering a drink. There is a very small selection of combinations that you can order. We would go a lot more often if you could just order chicken fingers and a side.
Review of Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. The chicken fingers are good but I didn't find them any better that other places. Prices are higher. I didn't like the dipping sauce, and there is no buffalo or ranch available.
Order Xtra crispy chicken and fries if you want guaranteed fresh food. If you don't like Xtra crispy food, don't worry, its not even that much extra crispy, but it is a lot more fresh! You can also substitute out the Texas toast for a buttered and toasted role (the same one for the sandwich).
For reheating Cane's fingers, I do not recommend the microwave at all. Use a baking sheet and place the chicken fingers in the oven for 7-9 minutes at 325 degrees or until crispy.
Raising Cane's Fries do not contain any dairy ingredients, but they use a shared fryer for their Chicken Fingers and Fries. Their Chicken Fingers contain milk, wheat, and egg. The fry oil they use is a “canola oil blend.”
Coleslaw, fries and toast can be substituted for one another, or an extra Cane's Sauce.
