Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find plenty of useful information. It depends on the size of the file, but normally a file can be upgraded in less than 10 minutes. Some larger files will take longer and of course small files are quicker.

Currently, it is not possible to convert an MYOB Essentials business across to AccountRight. If that is required, my recommendation would be to take the balances of your accounts and cards (customer and supplier) as of a particular date.
