To pair your mobile device (Android or iPhone) with Nest, download the Nest app. Then, connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your Nest thermostat (presumably your only home network). To remove the camera from the base, you'll need the included release tool or an unfolded paperclip. Insert the tool into the hole on the bottom of your Nest Hello. Yes, nest hello does work with Alexa to display a video feed on a compatible Alexa device with a screen like Echo Show or Echo Spot. Google Home & Google Home Mini do work with the Nest Hello to "Chime" like a doorbell chime when your nest hello is pressed.
It's important to note that even though this doorbell is listed as wireless, it will not work wirelessly with nest. The chime will need to be wired in the nest doorbell chime circuit. The electronic chimes will only work if your transformer is putting out 16V.
Once you set up the Google Assistant app, you'll get to a screen where you'll log in with your Nest username and password. Hit “Sign In” to continue. On the next screen, scroll down, and then tap “Allow” to link Google Assistant with your Nest Hello (and other Nest products if you have them).
