Forget all WiFi networks, restart your phone/tablet, then reconnect to your 2.4GHz network. On iOS: In the Settings app, tap General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. On Android: In the Settings app, tap General management or System, tap Reset or Reset Options > Reset Network Settings. Confirm the reset.
What to Do If You Cannot Remotely View Security Cameras Using the Internet via Port Forwarding. Make sure your cameras are connected to the network. Ensure all the ports of the network configuration are mapped to the Internet. Open the firewall in the router to allow Internet access to the camera.
“Cannot connect to local network.”This can happen when the Wyze Cam is unable to acquire the IP from the router. It is most often due to an incorrect password or a special router setting. A quick troubleshooting method is to verify the password and restart your router.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Check that the bulb is plugged in and turned on at the light socket or physical switch.
- If powered on, please power-cycle the bulb.
- If you're still not seeing the bulb online after power-cycling, try a factory reset to re-add the bulb to your account.
If your camera is in this state, you may need to try the following troubleshooting steps to get that camera back online. Power cycle your camera by removing the batteries for 5 seconds and reinserting them. Wait 30 seconds, then try using that camera again. Move the camera closer to your Sync Module.
The Wyze Cam Outdoor can work on continuous power (plugged into a power source, instead of using the battery), but we do not recommend it. This is because continuous power requires you to pull the rubber cover off of the charging port, which would leave the camera vulnerable to damage.
When a camera is disconnected from the video feed (or loses power), an alarm is triggered. Whenever tampering is detected, (camera is moved, sudden change in lighting, signal becomes flaky, network/communication connection goes down, etc.), an alarm is triggered.
Steps to Connect Wyze Cameras to New Wi-FiLog in if you haven't set the app to remember you. Connect your Wyze camera to the USB port or a power outlet. Wait until it flashes yellow (about thirty seconds). Hold the “Setup” button on the back of the camera until you hear the automated message “ready to connect.”

The Wyze error code 90 shows up quite often when viewing the Wyze camera and it's related to the camera communication protocol. In other words, it means your Wyze cam can't be reached by the streaming servers that are trying to access it.
To power cycle your Wyze Cam Outdoor:
- On the back of the camera, flip the power switch to the Off position. If connected to a power source, unplug the cord from the camera.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Flip the camera's power switch back to the On position.
