The Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro phones recently received the Android 10 update, and now the Oppo A9 2020 and Oppo A5 2020 are receiving it. Only the Oppo F7 is now left to receive the update in the first phase. The second phase will begin in July and phones like Oppo F15 and Oppo R15 Pro will receive the Android 10 update.

Updating your Android.
- Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
- Open Settings.
- Select About Phone.
- Tap Check for Updates. If an update is available, an Update button will appear. Tap it.
- Install. Depending on the OS, you'll see Install Now, Reboot and install, or Install System Software. Tap it.
To update Android 10 with colorOS 7, start at your Settings.
- Log in to your Settings app and navigate to System and Software Updates or System Update. If there's an update available, it should be displayed.
- From Software Update, go to the trial version.
- Click on the update to upgrade to colorOS7.

Under the Recovery Mode, tap on the Install from storage device option > select Install from SD card and find the update package. Tap on the firmware zip file and a confirmation message will appear on your screen. Tap on the Yes button. Your device will reboot and start updating.

Pixel phones get security updates for at least 3 years from when the device first became available on the Google Store in the US. If the duration is longer, Pixel 3, Pixel 2, and Pixel (2016) phones get security updates for at least 18 months from when the Google Store last sold the device.
So, I can say LG is pretty fast with Android updates and provide updates for at least 18 months i.e nearly 2 years. Long answer short, LG typically takes 2+ months to to roll out latest Android to its flagship and it continues to do so for 2 years.
