Here's how to fix it. If you're experiencing this problem, it's because when you set up your Facebook Business Manager account, you clicked “Add A Page” instead of “Request Access To A Page.” On the same screen you're on (pages screen in business settings), click Add > Request Access to Page > Select your page > DONE!
It's just as simple to do.
- Go to the post in question, such as on a Facebook page or friend's account.
- Select Share, and you can see a list of the people who have shared the post. Depending on the person's privacy settings, you might not see everyone who has shared the post.
- You're done!
To post new content to multiple pages at the same time:
- Click + in the bottom right corner of your screen or go to the Home tab and click Post something
- Click Post Video Across Pages.
- Choose a primary Page to upload your video.
- Choose the other Pages you want your video to post to.
Here are the steps you need to do
- Choose URL or Page. Pick the URL of a website or Facebook Page you want to use with the like button.
- Code Configurator. Paste the URL to the code configurator and adjust settings like the width of your like button.
- Copy & Paste HTML snippet.
The way around this, is to click the pull-down menu on the top right hand corner of the post. There you will see an option to “save post”. Once you have saved this post, you can click on the link to your saved posts and there you will have the option to share the post to your timeline.
When someone clicks Share below your post, they aren't able to share your photos, videos or status updates through Facebook with people who weren't in the audience you originally selected to share with. Only the people who could see those posts when you first made them are able to see them when someone clicks Share.
On desktop at least you have to option to press the 2nd “share” button in the dropdown and then choose “include original post”.
To activate this feature:
In the settings page scroll down to find "Connect With Facebook". Select the Enable Facebook Share Functionality box. You will then be given the option to edit the text that appears. Make sure to click on "Update Settings" when you are done.Facebook is built around sharing, whether you're sharing status updates, links or photos. Every photo album you have permission to view, whether created by yourself or one of your friends, has its own link that can be posted to another friend's timeline. The privacy of the photos within the album is not affected.
Sign in to your Facebook account, go to the "Account" menu and select "Privacy Settings." Go to the "Sharing on Facebook" section and click the "Customize Settings" link near the bottom. Go to the "Things Others Share" section and edit the settings you want to change.
Click on 'Most Recent at the top of the news feed. You will get a small arrow to the side of it that you can click to open up a drop down menu. Go to Edit Options and you will see the option for "Show Posts From" and change the setting to "All of your friends and Pages".
Rick's answer: Your friends are right, Billy. Facebook recently removed the “Share” button from all posts that don't have their privacy levels set to “Public”. But that being said, if you really want as many Facebook users as possible to see a given post you can always change its privacy level to “Public”.
