Make sure that your device and the TV are connected to the same home network. Make sure the Google Cast Receiver or Chromecast built-in app is not disabled in Android TV™. Press the HOME button on the remote control. Select Apps — See all apps — Google Cast Receiver or Chromecast built-in — Enable.
Prepare the
Android smartphone and Micro
USB cable.
Connect the
TV and
smartphone with the Micro
USB cable. Set the
USB setting of the
smartphone to File Transfers or MTP mode.
Open the TV's Media Player app.
- Press the HOME button on the remote control.
- Select Media.
- Select Photo, Music or Video.
Reboot your mobile device. Perform a power reset. Start pairing the mobile device to the TV. If your TV doesn't support screen mirroring and the mobile device has the Wi-Fi Direct feature, use the Wi-Fi Direct feature on your mobile device to display photos and play videos or music on the TV.
How to connect screen mirroring?
- Press the Arrow like button on your Sony Bravia TV remote.
- Select the screen mirroring option.
- Here you will see your TVs WiFi direct name.
- Go to your Samsung's Notification panel, drag down and select Smart View.
- Select your TV's WiFi direct name and press.
- Wait for a while.
You can cast screens of all Android devices (who have smart screen or screen mirroring option) and Sony smartphones (who have Miracast) on your Sony Bravia TV. If your smartphone does not have these options then you can still mirror your device's screen on your TV by using a third party app.
Mirror iPhone to Sony TV Using iMediaShare app
- Make sure that your Wi-Fi Direct has been set up properly.
- Search for iMediaShare on your App Store and install it on your iOS.
- Open iMediaShare and select the file you want to display.
- After that, click on the name that corresponds with your TV to begin mirroring.
Register a Mobile Device to the TV
- Xperia™ devices with Android™ 4.4 operating system or later. On the home screen, tap Settings. Select Device connection or Xperia Connectivity. Select Screen mirroring, and then tap Start.
- Other mobile devices, check the supplied manual to access the Screen mirroring feature.
Cast content from your device to your TV
- Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android TV.
- Open the app that has the content you want to cast.
- In the app, find and select Cast .
- On your device, select the name of your TV .
- When Cast. changes color, you're successfully connected.
Use Screen Mirroring to see the entire screen of your iOS device on your Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.
- Connect your iOS device to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV or AirPlay 2-compatible smart TV.
- Open Control Center:
- Tap Screen Mirroring.
To register your device to the TV
- Press the INPUT button on the TV remote control, select Screen mirroring using the / buttons, then press the Enter button.
- Connect your Screen-mirroring-compatible mobile device to the TV. Configure your mobile device to connect to the TV.
Make the Bluetooth setting again and check if the issue will improve.
- Press the Home button on the remote control.
- Select Settings.
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options: Select Remotes & Accessories — Bluetooth settings — Bluetooth. (Android™ 9)
- Change Bluetooth from on to off.
- Set Bluetooth to on again.

To register your device to the TV

- Connect your Screen-mirroring-compatible mobile device to the TV. Configure your mobile device to connect to the TV.
TVs released in 2016 and earlier don't support Bluetooth connections with audio devices. For more details on compatible models check the Can I use Bluetooth headphones and soundbars with my Android TV article. If your TV supports it, only one Bluetooth audio device can be connected to the TV at a time.

Wi-Fi™ Direct is a feature that allows audio and video content to be played back wirelessly from a personal media player or mobile phone directly to a compatible BRAVIA® TV without the need for a home network connection. Using a computer, wireless access point, or cable is not necessary.
Google Chromecast
Google's Chromecast provides an inexpensive way to wirelessly mirror your Android device at work. Currently, there are a couple of Chromecast devices available that can do this - the Ultra and the second-generation Chromecast. The Chromecast can mirror content from any Android device.Screen casting or screen mirroring does not require an internet connection. If your smart TV supports screen mirroring then you can cast a device like smart phone or windows notebook which also should support casting. Both devices will be connected using built in wi-fi and doesn't need internet.
Screen mirroring is built into the Home app. In addition to an Android phone or tablet, you'll need a Google Chromecast streaming dongle, and either a TV with Chromecast built in or a smart display like the Google Nest Hub.
