Desktop client
- Sign in to the Zoom Desktop Client.
- Schedule a meeting.
- Click Meetings.
- Select the meeting that you want to invite others to. Click Copy Invitation. The meeting invitation will be copied and you can paste that information into an email or anywhere else you would like to send it out.
Zoom offers a full-featured Basic Plan for free with unlimited meetings. Both Basic and Pro plans allow for unlimited 1-1 meetings, each meeting can have a duration of 24 hours maximum. Your Basic plan has a 40 minutes time limit per each meeting with three or more total participants.
You can host, join and schedule zoom meetings right on your iPhone or iPad. Additionally, you'll also be able to screenshare with the participants. In order to host a meeting, select “New Meeting”. Here, make sure the toggle for “Use Personal Meeting ID” is enabled and then tap on “Start a Meeting”.
How to schedule a Google Meet in Google Calendar on mobile
- Open the Google Calendar app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Tap on the multicolored + button at the bottom right of the screen.
- Tap on Event.
- Scroll down, and tap Add conferencing.
- Tap Google Meet.
- Set a time, add participants, and set notification reminders.
To leave a meeting from Zoom on your mobile device, select 'End' then 'Leave Meeting'.

To schedule a meeting, click Meetings on the left side of the app and then click Schedule a meeting. Go to the Select a channel to meet in section: Select None to create a private meeting.
If you have a paid subscription to the full version of Microsoft Teams, you can schedule a meeting through the mobile app on Android devices as well as iPads and iPhones. To schedule a meeting, select the “Calendar” tab at the bottom of your screen and tap the “Schedule A Meeting” icon.
Here are the supported mobile platforms for the Microsoft Teams app: iOS operating system version 10.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. Android operating system version 4.4 or later.
After sending the meeting, click on it on your calendar in Teams. This will open the meeting details page. In the description field, there will now be a Join Microsoft Teams Meeting link. Right click on the link, then select Copy Link.
Click New Teams Meeting at the top of the view.
- Add your invitees to the Required or Optional field(s)—you can even invite entire contact groups (formerly known as distribution lists).
- Add your meeting subject, location, start time, and end time.
- Create your message.
- Then click Send.
In a channel
- Go to Teams on the left side of the app. Choose the channel you want to meet in from the list.
- In the Posts tab, look for Meet in the top-right corner. From the drop-down, select Meet now.
- Give your meeting a title and choose whether you want to include video.
- When you're ready, hit Join now.
The main screen of the Microsoft Teams app for the iPad has multiple tabs at the bottom. When you tap on a meeting on the left that is scheduled as a Teams meeting, you have an option to click a button to join the meeting.
If you need to schedule a meeting on behalf of another user, use scheduling privilege. You can also give another Licensed user scheduling privilege, which allows them to schedule meetings for you and makes them an alternative host for those meetings.
Android
- Open the Zoom mobile app. If you have not downloaded the Zoom mobile app yet, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
- Join a meeting using one of these methods:
- Enter the meeting ID number and your display name.
- Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video and tap Join Meeting.
Zoom - Host a Meeting and Invite Participants
- Open the Zoom.us application.
- Host a Meeting.
- Click the Invite button at the bottom of the meeting window.
- You can share the invitation in a few different ways:
- Schedule a Meeting.
- Enter a meeting title, in the Topic field.
- In the When options, enter:
- Choose from the following options:
A Zoom account is not required if you are strictly joining Zoom Meetings as a participant. If someone invites you to their meeting, you can join as a participant without creating an account. A Zoom account is only required if you need to create your own meetings and send invitations to participants.
Scheduling a meeting
- Open the Outlook desktop app and switch to calendar view.
- In the Home tab, click New Meeting.
- Enter meeting details like the title, location, and guest list.
- In the Meeting tab, click Add a Zoom Meeting.
- Select your desired video, audio and meeting settings.
