Method 1: reset the adapter using the button on the devices
- Search the reset button on the powerline adapter.
- Use the paperclip to press ad hold the reset button for at least 10 seconds until the lights start blinking.
- Wait until the lights on the adapter stop blinking.
- (Optional) Set up the power adapters again.
Locate the pinhole on the side where the reset button is. Insert a pin then press and hold the reset button until all indicator lights turn on momentarily. The range extender should now be reset to factory default settings.
How to reset TP-Link Range Extender?
- Power on your TP-Link range extender.
- Locate the reset button at the rear of your device.
- Press and hold the button for a few seconds. You are expected to hold the button for around one to two seconds.
- Release the button once the range extender reboots.
Method One: With the Range Extender powered on, use a pin to press and hold the RESET button (about 8 seconds) until the System LED becomes quick-flash from slow-flash. And then release the button and wait the Range Extender to reboot to its factory default settings.
To reset the TP-LINK TL-MR6400 to its default settings, you have to do the following steps:
- Put router into operation.
- Press and hold the WPS/RESET button until the router's Power LED flashes.
- Device is automatically restarted.
- Router has been reset to factory settings.
STEP II: Change of Password in CPE/ ADSL RouterClick on WAN tab, which appears at left side of the window. Scroll to WAN settings and select PPPoE/PPPoA option. How to Reset a Router
- Keep your router plugged in.
- Find your router's reset button. This will be on the back or the bottom of your router.
- Use a paperclip to hold down the reset button for 30 seconds.
- Release the button.
- Wait for the router to power back on.
Reset on the device
- From the device home screen, select Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll to and select Factory Reset.
- Select Factory Reset.
- Select Confirm.
- Scroll to and click Restore factory defaults.
- Click Confirm.
- The MiFi 8000 will reset.
Router reset will wipe out all of your customized settings. Router username and password will be reset to factory default values as shown on the router label. Personalized Wi-Fi settings will be deleted, including the Wi-Fi name and password you created.

- Sign in to the Admin Web Interface.
- Click Router Settings.
- From the Wi-Fi tab, click the Wi-Fi Profile tab.

How to Configure the AP Router Mode on the Pharos device?
