The main reason is that Facebook doesn't allow users to have two personal accounts -- it's against their Terms of Service. So if they find out you have two personal accounts, they'll shut them down. If it weren't against their terms, having two personal accounts would be a pain to maintain.
Although you technically cannot create two separate Facebook accounts from one email address, you can use Facebook as two or more separate entities from the same Facebook account. Facebook allows you to create Pages for business, which can be managed from your personal profile account.
Some signs you can look for, though, include:
- Fake profile photo or using same photo on both accounts - Use Reverse Image Search to check where else their profile photo is being used.
- Liking/sharing the other account's posts too often — No one shares everything someone el.
Facebook is not a file that needs to be transferred from one phone to another, it's an application available on Google Play store. You can download the Facebook application on your new smartphone and simply log in.
If you choose to create multiple accounts by yourself, these are the steps you have to complete:
- confirm email address.
- confirm phone number linked to the profile.
- set profile names and basic information.
- upload photos.
Certain people want to hide their accounts from their family as they do not want them to interfere or get to know about their personal lives. Due to which, they create more than 1 account, and add their family members in the other profile.
If you're unable to merge your Pages, it means that your Pages aren't eligible to be merged — check to make sure that the business information on both pages is as closely matched as possible. If you see the option to request to merge your Pages, Facebook will review your request.
In order to merge two pages, you need to have full admin rights to both Facebook pages. If you are an editor, or something else, you won't be able to do the merge. Try your best to update your pages BEFORE the merge. If the names of the two pages aren't similar enough, Facebook will reject the merge.
If you don't see the option to edit your Page's name: You don't have a Page role that allows you to change your Page's name. Learn how to see your Page role. You or another admin recently changed your Page's name.
Changing Your Facebook Page Name in 2020Check out the Page Roles section of the settings section. While you're looking at your page, you'll need to click About and then Edit next to your Page's name. You'll enter a new name and click Continue.
According to Facebook's terms, individuals are only allowed to have one account. Businesses can create two accounts by using business Pages instead. Use a single Facebook account to manage multiple Pages. Third party Facebook account managers may also manage Pages for numerous business under a single account.

Facebook requires every business page to be linked to a personal Facebook profile, but all the information—posts, comments, photos, updates, etc. —are separate. The information on your personal profile will not appear on your business page and vice versa, unless you manually share them between pages.
#1: Like Facebook Pages as Your PageTo like another Facebook page as your page, go to the page you want to like, click on the three dots on the page's cover photo, and click on the Like as Your Page link. The confirmation is Facebook's way of saying your page has liked that page.
When someone visits your Page, they may see a People Also Like section on the right side of your Page, which may list Pages similar to yours. When you turn off these suggestions, your Page will also stop appearing in recommendations when people visit Pages that are similar to yours.
