MyFitnessPal adjusts your calorie goal for the day according to your activity level. Luckily, MyFitnessPal has a feature called "negative calorie adjustments," which works with your activity tracker to provide you with more accurate information about how many calories you should be consuming each day.
Pair your Polar device with the Flow app by pressing and holding the Back button of your Polar device. Wait a while and enter the PIN code your Polar device suggests to your mobile device. Do not use your phone's Bluetooth menu to pair the Polar device. The pairing is done in the Flow app!
Launch the MyFitnessPal app, then in the Menu (or "More" page), tap Apps, and disconnect from Fitbit there. Then log out or force quit the app. Please make sure you know your username and password before doing so. Finally, log back into the MyFitnessPal app, go back to Steps, and reassign Fitbit as your step source.

You may not be as active as an average person, or you may be more active. If you are not as active as the original activity level you chose, then you will see a zero adjustment, unless you have opted in to Negative Adjustments, in which case you'll see calories removed from your daily goal.

If you don't have time to look for a solution and you just want to add the steps you have taken that day, it is possible to add them manually. Go to Diary and press Add Exercise. Select Cardio and you can enter all the details: duration and calories burnt.
Users with Step Tracking activated will see a progress bar on the Home screen of the app that fills in toward the day's step goal each time the app updates. If you are tracking steps with the iPhone option selected, you can change your daily step goal in More > Settings > Steps.

Currently, there is not a way to convert your step count into calories burned, unless you have integrated your MyFitnessPal account with one of our integration partners. Many of these partners can automatically log your burned calories based on your amount of walking or other exercise.
