Also, you'll need to make sure the nameservers are the same as those for your primary domain (the domain that you are pointing towards).
If you happen to not have a hosting plan and you would like to redirect your domain to another domain, it can be easily done using Cloudflare.
Your changes will take take effect in the next 24-48 hours.
If you need to change the URL of a page as it is shown in search engine results, we recommend that you use a server-side 301 redirect. This is the best way to ensure that users and search engines are directed to the correct page. The 301 status code means that a page has permanently moved to a new location.
However, when redirecting to the new URL, visitors will see your domain in their address bar. Go to the Pointers & Subdomain page, select the Pointer Type as URL Stealth and place the full URL of the website you would like your visitors to be redirected. Make sure to hit Save.

There are a number of reasons to transfer a domain name to another registrar. Perhaps your current registrar doesn't offer all of the features you need, or they're offered at a price that simply doesn't fit your budget.
At GoDaddy, Domain transfers are charged per name at a flat fee, so you'll pay nothing beyond this initial cost and ICANN registration, where appropriate. We also let you keep any time left on your current registrations — and throw in a free year of registration for each transfer*.
Therefore all settings remain the same, your website continues to resolve, and there is no downtime. You can transfer your domain and feel confident that your website will NOT go down when you transfer the domain. We do not change the DNS when you transfer the domain.
In our experience, these four steps will get you through the website transfer process without any hiccups:
- Provide access to your hosting account.
- Transfer ownership of your site's domain.
- Provide access to all connected third-party services and accounts.
- Send over any files related to your website.
Here's how you initiate the process of transferring a domain name from GoDaddy to your new host: Make sure all the contact information on your domain name is up to date. Check out the GoDaddy help page on updating registration information for help with this process. Add the domain to your new registrar/host.
Go to lookup.icann.org. In the search field, enter your domain name and click Lookup. In the results page, scroll down to Registrar Information. The registrar is usually your domain host.
If you're just transferring the domain registration, your hosting account will be unaffected, and there will be no need to transfer files between servers. Although DNS (domain name server) information should be transferred as part of the process, it's always a good idea to have a record of them.
