When you open Passwords and Keys for the first time, you will see keys and password grouped together. In the Login keyring, you may find stored passwords for GNOME applications such as Web, Accounts etc. The Login keyring is the default keyring in Passwords and keys.
It is possible to leave the GNOME keyring password blank or change it. In seahorse, in the "View" drop-down menu, select "By Keyring". On the Passwords tab, right click on "Passwords: login" and pick "Change password." Enter the old password and leave empty the new password.
Gnome-keyring is installed by default in MX Linux, and is used to manage security credentials, such as user names and passwords. The “default keyring” employs the user's login for encryption, eliminating the need for a second password.
Go to Passwords and Keys. Under "Passwords" just delete the Login keyring underneath that.
Get a coin about the size of a quarter. Press the edge of the coin against the key ring at a 45 degree angle, near where it opens; the coin will slide under part of the key ring, lifting the end up. Apply pressure to the coin so that it lifts up the end of the key ring enough to slide the key on. Then slide the key on.
Re: Login Keyring - Password doesn't match

GNOME Keyring is a collection of components in GNOME that store secrets, passwords, keys, certificates and make them available to applications. After I provided a strong password, I noticed that everytime I login to Linux Mint I am always prompted to unlock the default keyring.
Public and secret keys are required in order to use GnuPG for secure email. These keys are stored in two files called public and secret keyrings. If you are already a user of any version of PGP, you can import your existing keyrings into GnuPG. To import a public keyring, use the command. gpg --import <keyfile>
