The only worldbuffs that can be dispelled are the DM Tribute buffs, rest can only be lost when dying or timer runs out.
After the flower is cleansed you can click on it to get an hour buff called "Songflower Serenade" that increases the chance to crit by 5% and adds 15 to all stats.
To get the 1200 tickets needed for this, you'll need to do 60 turnins at 20 tickets each. It depends greatly on your server's economy on which way is cheapest Typically it's dense stone, but sometimes it's thorium bars.
You can also talk to a Darkmoon Faire Mystic Mage (found in most major cities) who will teleport you to the entrance of the DMF for a small fee. When you're done you can exit the DMF by the portal on the dock (Southern part of the Island) or you can go back to where you first teleported in.
You can easily reach the portals located in Elwynn Forest and Mulgore by paying a Darkmoon Faire Mystic Mage (located in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Dalaran) to teleport you there.
The tickets carry over. They're treated like actual currency now (check the "currency" tab on your character window) as opposed to holiday items. They're considered a currency now, found under the Currency tab of your Character window, and they do accumulate.
This can be obtained from Selina Dourman, who stands on the left-side of the entrance to the Darkmoon Faire. Just ask her about the Darkmoon Adventurer's Guide, and she'll give you a replacement.

The Darkmoon Faire is in town one week out of every month with heirlooms, spooky toys, battle pets, and transmog gear to acquire! Highlights include: Replica vanilla WoW dungeon armor for transmogrification. Mounts, pets, and toys to purchase for your collections.
You will need Darkmoon Adventurer's Guide in your inventory to be eligible to loot these artifacts. It can be obtained by talking to Selina Dourman at the Faire or Darkmoon Faire Greeter/Darkmoon Faire Greeter outside the portal.
The Onyxia buff cooldown can be reset by mind-controlling Major Mattingly or Overlord Runthak with a Priest from the opposing faction. You will need to wait 5 minutes for the NPC to respawn before you can turn in the head.

These buffs last 1-2 hours but don't pesist upon death, so wiping from PvP at the entrance is a real pain. And trust me, these buffs are stupidly strong. The onyxia one alone gives me enough rage as a bear tank to be able to spam swipes.
onyxia 6 hours , nef 6 hours cd , dafuq man , this is so stupid , and sometimes bug. As they both give the same buff the actual cool down is practically only 3hours.
