Breakout rooms allow you to create sub-meetings within your Teams meeting for smaller groups of participants to collaborate and have discussions. Up to 50 Breakout rooms can be created for a single meeting.
Creating breakout rooms
- Start an instant or scheduled meeting.
- Click Breakout Rooms.
- Select the number of rooms you would like to create, and how you would like to assign your participants to those rooms: Automatically: Let Zoom split your participants up evenly into each of the rooms.
- Click Create Rooms.
Breakout rooms allow you to split your Zoom meeting in up to 50 separate sessions. The meeting host can choose to split the participants of the meeting into these separate sessions automatically or manually, or they can allow participants to select and enter breakout sessions as they please.
It will always be free, and you never have to worry about any surprise charges. When you're ready to upgrade to a paid Webex Meetings plan, then you can enter a credit card.
Moderators can use breakout rooms to divide participants into smaller groups during video calls. Breakout rooms must be started by moderators during a video call on a computer. Breakout rooms currently can't be live streamed or recorded.
A personal room is your own virtual conference space and it is always available and you never have to book it. You can also schedule a meeting in the future in your personal room.
Music mode preserves your microphone's original sound when using your computer for audio, making virtual concerts or music lessons even better. When a meeting or event begins, the microphone optimizes audio for speech by default. To optimize for music, turn on Music mode.
Nov 29, 2016 12756. A meeting held in your personal room will happen whenever you select "Start Meeting"; a “scheduled meeting” is pre-scheduled to occur at a later date/time. You will receive an email with the details of your scheduled meeting, including a link from which to access WebEx and start your meeting.

You may wish to use WebEx Meeting to hold audio-only telephone conferences. In order to do so, you need to log in to your WebEx Meeting host account online and establish Personal Conferencing Numbers (PCNs). Each host can have up to three PCNs. Each PCN provides a host access code and attendee access code.

- Under Personal Conferencing, select Generate account. You can create up to three Personal Conferencing accounts.
