If your Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Buds+, Galaxy Buds Live, or Gear IconX earbuds have no or low volume and poor sound quality on one or both buds, there may be a couple reasons why. You might be wearing the earbuds incorrectly, or the buds could have accumulated dust or debris.
Samsung Galaxy Buds are not waterproof, or even rated as appreciably water resistant, and should be kept as dry as possible at all times. From experience you can but probably don't try the high 45 watt charger as that thing is very quick and the galaxy buds doesn't support that high of wattage.
Both buds have dual microphones, but the AirPods isolated the voice better in the call while the Galaxy Buds let in more ambient noise. The AirPods sounded much clearer and louder to the person on the other line. Winner: Galaxy Buds for sound quality, AirPods get points for call quality.
Yes, you can use it on your Note9, however, you won't be able to charge it with your phone, you'll have to charge it with your phone's charger. I use the Galaxy Buds with a Galaxy S9; I'll presume the Note 9 interfaces the same way, in which case they'll work just fine.

Hey @Asia0712! Is anything blocking one of the Galaxy Buds? Try cleaning them to remove any obstruction with a soft toothbrush or a piece of cotton. Also, please make sure that the Galaxy Buds are fully up to date by heading to: Galaxy Wearable app > About earbuds > Update earbuds software > Download and install.
When headphones are regularly used, dirt and earwax may accumulate inside the mesh of the earphone. This tends to disrupt the flow of volume. Dirty earphones are usually the reason why only one side is quieter. You can easily spot grime on the surface of the earphone and clean it before you toss away the entire set.
