The verification code is one way to verify ownership. Other ways exist, such as downloading a file from Bing and adding it your site. We are not sure what method you used but as long as Bing says you are verified you do not need to add a code. No further actions are required.
Both Bing Webmaster Tools and Google Search Console use similar methods to verify the ownership of a website.
